A sampling of services includes doctrinal writing task to update or develop five Field Artillery and three Air Defense Artillery Army Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (ATTP) manuals or Training Circulars; training strategies; doctrine; concepts; instruction and products for the current and future force for the Engineer, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN), and Military Police Schools; general technical, analytical, and operational support; doctrine and training development; training; force modernization; general test and evaluation; and simulations and analysis.

-Charles F. Day and Associates provides Logistics Management services to the Department of Defense, primarily to the Army and Marine Corps. We perform/support all aspects of logistical support including systems/program management, medical protective systems , and training – both institutional and new equipment field training, maintenance, and maintenance training, and provided Field Service Representatives. We’ve developed Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Materiel Fielding Agreements, Materiel Fielding support, Technical Manuals, training curricula and courses supporting New Equipment Training, and other acquisition support products.

In a recent relationship with the Defense Security Services (DSS), Charles F. Day & Associates provided Program and Project Management Support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) portfolio of projects. Working with the customer and key stakeholders, we immediately implemented Project Management Best practices for the following projects:
• Windows 10 migration
• SharePoint 2013 cloud-based migration
• Network Role-Based Access
We also developed an Integrated Master Schedule for all projects within the DSS OCIO Portfolio providing leadership with the information necessary to prioritize and effectively assign resources.
Charles F. Day & Associates also introduced additional industry best practices such as:
• Risk Management best practices and built a custom Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to track and effectively manage risks within the OCIO.
• Project Management Workflow – Built within SharePoint 2013 with ISO 9001:2015 aspects to support the goals of continuous improvement, standardization, visibility, and accountability.
We also mapped out and built workflows to standardized key processes increasing the repeatability, efficiency, and quality of outcomes.
Charles F. Day & Associates conducted Strategic Planning workshops with Senior Leadership and Key Stakeholders to understand and define the Strategic Goals and Desired State of the OCIO organization. These workshops ensured the Strategic Goals and Desired State were clearly defined, goals and milestones were established, and necessary resources were identified to achieve the Strategic Goals and Desired State of the OCIO organization.
