International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the most updated standard of its kind and focuses on quality management systems and performance. It assists companies in developing a management system that aligns quality with their wider business strategy. ISO 9001 is based on the idea of continual improvement with the newest standards increasing the focus on risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes that helps improve communications and efficiency in support of implementation of continuous improvement.
“We are excited to earn our certification to ISO 9001:2015. We believe it provides additional assurance to our customers that we are focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction,” said CFDay CEO/President, Dr. Charles F. Day. “Our move from ISO 9001:2008 to the 9001:2015 standards demonstrates our continued commitment to perform at the highest levels of quality and efficiency. It is essential to delivering innovative, high quality solutions to our customers.”
For any company, achieving certification requires time and commitment. CFDay began our internal preparation for certification to the new standards in 2016, by evaluating our existing processes and procedures and ensuring they continued to align with the new requirements. Since our documentation and procedures were well established and compliant with ISO 9001:2008, we only needed to make minor changes to our quality manual and review to meet the new standards.
Three words best sum up our company: Character, Competence, Commitment.
